- Boy Scout Troop 142 has been providing scouting to boys in grades 6-12 for over 30 years in Stafford.
- Troop 142 meets on Tuesdays from
7:15 pm to 8:30 pm in the school
cafeteria.

- Are you a teen interested in information or joining St. William of York's Catholic Youth Organization (CYO)? Contact Tonya Gott at tonya.gott@gmail.com (571)-485-0473, or stop in for a meeting on Sundays in the St. William of York parish center from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM! RENT-A-CREW is a CYO service to the parish and a fundraiser (by donation) for the group! We will begin our work October 1st and can be hired any Saturday through November 5th! - CYO is open to all high school teens. Special emphasis is given to engaging youth and their families in prayer and action. CYO encourages all high school teens to participate fully within the parish community
- Meetings are held on Sundays at 6:45 pm in the gym and on the First Friday of each month following the evening Mass. Activities, events, and fundraisers are also scheduled throughout the month

Adoration
- Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will begin after the 9:00am Mass with Solemn Exposition on the first Friday of each month.
- It is suspended for the 6:30pm Mass and then resumes afterwards and concludes with Solemn Benediction at Midnight.

- Knights of Columbus
- The Father Widmer Council of the Knights of Columbus, council #7877, is located on the grounds of St. William of York Church in Stafford County, Virginia on Jefferson Davis Highway. Council meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, 7:30 pm at the Council Home and are open to all Brother Knights.
- The Father Widmer Council was founded in 1981 through the efforts of the charter members. It is named after Father James J. Widmer, who while pastor of St. Mary's Church in Fredericksburg celebrated the first First Communion Mass to be held at St. William of York on May 12, 1957.
- The Father Widmer Council
supports the St. William of York Parish
and the surrounding area of Stafford
County, Virginia; providing funds and
manpower for Church, Charity and
Community including support for SWOY
Outreach and Youth projects and the
parish school through fund-raising and
volunteer man-hours. Individual members
are also active participants in the
parish in many other ways.

team of cantors provides vocal music at

- The usher ministry is open to any parishioner 16 years or older. If you volunteer to serve you will be placed on a rotating schedule to serve at a Mass time of your choosing.
- Appropriate dress is required to
serve. Being part of the usher ministry
